Mahira Khan has announced that she is expecting her second child at the age of 41, sharing the news with fans as she made her debut at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). She revealed her pregnancy on Instagram with photographs showing her in a flowing white dress while cradling her baby bump.
For the occasion, she wore a deep burgundy and emerald green saree by Aafrinish by Niazi, adding another memorable fashion moment to her appearance.
The label’s collections feature hand-embroidered sarees and traditional techniques including Kashidakari, Pita Tila, Mukesh and Cutdana work.The couple married in an intimate ceremony in Bhurban in October 2023.
Alongside the pictures, she wrote, “We make plans and then there are Allah’s plans.”
The announcement drew an outpouring of love and congratulatory messages from fans, friends and fellow celebrities, with several prominent names from Pakistan’s entertainment industry celebrating the news in the comments.

Currently, she is set to star in the upcoming action film Mitti De Baway opposite Wahaj Ali.
The actor’s previous film Aag Lagey Basti Mein released earlier this year on Eidul Fitr.
