Gold House unveils 2023 most impactful Asians A100 list. Gold House A100 for APAHM COURTESY OF GOLD HOUSE

Gold House has announced its 2023 Most Impactful Asians A100 list, recognising trailblazers in various industries.

The list includes Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, and Saweetie. The honourees will be celebrated at the Gold Gala during AAPI month in Los Angeles. The founder of Define American, Jose Antonio Vargas, emphasised the importance of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders shaping mainstream culture.

Amna Nawaz, a PBS news anchor, highlighted the significance of diverse representation in newsrooms. Gold House aims to break established ceilings and redefine the perception of the Asian Pacific community in society.

The A100 list, unveiled during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, acknowledges leaders who have made significant contributions to American culture and society. The categories include activism and journalism, business and technology, entertainment and media, lifestyle and fashion, and sports and gaming. Bela Bajaria, the chief content officer at Netflix, tops the entertainment and media category. Other notable figures in the category include Ali Wong, Steven Yeun, and Amber Midthunder.

The Hall of Fame inductees, including Michelle Yeoh and Taika Waititi, have been recognized for their continuous impact.

Gold House will host events from May 5 to May 7 to celebrate the honourees, culminating in the Gold Gala. The Gala brings together Asian Pacific and multicultural luminaries to showcase initiatives driving the Asian Pacific movement. Michelle Yeoh, an Academy Award-winning actress and Gold House A100 Hall of Famer, expressed pride in the representation of Asian Pacific leaders. Gold House’s A100 list showcases the achievements and opportunities available to Asian Pacific leaders, inspiring future generations.

Gold House is a cultural ecosystem that supports and champions Asian Pacific content and companies. In addition to the A100 list, Gold House revealed special honours for transformative impact, as determined by top Asian Pacific organisations, creative and business leaders, and multicultural allies. The A100 celebratory weekend includes an exclusive reception, industry-specific salons, the Gold Gala, and the Gold Women Brunch. The brunch aims to create meaningful connections and spaces for influential Asian Pacific women and non-binary leaders.

Asian Pacific leaders are making significant contributions across industries, providing greater socioeconomic opportunities for all. The A100 list recognises the 100 most impactful leaders, with the A1 representing the most impactful in each industry. Everything Everywhere All at Once, an acclaimed film, achieved historic success at the Oscars, while Turning Red garnered significant streaming engagement.

Asian Pacific founders and funders continue to drive new industries, with a notable presence on the 2022 Midas List and in recent IPOs.

Gold House aims to break barriers and redefine societal perceptions by highlighting the essential impact of the Asian Pacific community on culture. The organisation envisions a future where the Asian Pacific community is seen and recognised for its contributions.
