With the Covid-19 pandemic now behind us, celebrations for Halloween were in full swing this year. As celebrities celebrated across the world, pictures of our local stars dressed to the nines made the rounds on social media too.
While some leading ladies went all out with their makeup and hairdos, others opted for the perfect costumes to get into character. Needless to say, we had a blast skimming through the pictures that appeared on our newsfeed this past weekend. From Anoushey Ashraf to Hania Aamir, here is a roundup of our favourite Halloween looks this time around.
- Anoushey Ashraf
Wednesday Addams may not have introduced the all-black fashion fad but there is no gain saying that she is an icon of the style. Channeling the comedy-horror series’ star to perfection, Ashraf opted for a monochrome look. The VJ went for a black long sleeves T-shirt over a collared white shirt and a pleated black mini skirt. She coupled her look with long striped stockings and black lace-ups. Staying true to her character, she tied her hair in braided pigtails. There was nothing lacking in this look!

The model was a sure-fire stand-out in a Harley Quinn costume, while her better half Shahbaz Taseer made for the perfect Joker. She captioned her Instagram post, “You can be my crazy, I’ll be your insane.” Neha was dressed in a black sleeveless crop top over a red and white T-shirt, and a patent black skirt. She effortlessly pulled of the pigtails as well as the pink and blue eye shadow, typical of Harley Quinn’s character. A read pout and black crisscross hosiery stockings completed her look.

We wanted to give her the biggest bear hug! While becoming a teddy did not need much effort, it did require guts. Hania looked oh so aww-dorable in a brown teddy bear costume. With both hands on her waist, she struck a perfect pose for the camera. So cute, we loved it!
