Actor deleted 150+ posts, leaving 11, mostly from her New York trip and Asim Azhar’s North America tour
Hania Aamir was trending this week after surprising fans by deleting most of her Instagram posts and changing her profile picture to a CNIC image.
Aamir is one of Pakistan’s most followed celebrities, with nearly 20 million followers on the platform. She is known for her active yet casual presence online, often sharing stories, reels, photography, and light-hearted, comedic content.
Recently, she deleted more than 150 images, leaving only 11 posts visible on her profile. Most of the remaining pictures are from her recent trip to New York, where she also attended Asim Azhar’s North America tour—an event that has fuelled speculation about the pair reportedly rekindling their relationship.
The actress further drew attention by replacing her profile picture with her CNIC image, sparking amusement and widespread reactions on social media.
One user joked, “Is she possibly launching an album like Asim Azhar?”, referring to the common practice among musicians of clearing their social media feeds ahead of new releases.
Despite the buzz, Aamir appeared unbothered and continued posting her usual content, including a video of herself dancing to a song alongside makeup artist Babar Zaheer.
In one of her recent posts, she captioned a video: “Mom raised a chatpati one.”
The unexpected Instagram cleanup and CNIC display picture have only added to ongoing speculation around her online activity, with fans continuing to debate the reason behind the change.
