Security forces have neutralised 48 terrorists associated with Indian proxies, Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij, over the last 48 to 72 hours in different parts of Balochistan, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.

According to the military’s media wing, the security forces have conducted multiple intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Mastung, Quetta, Kalat, and Sibi against Indian proxies, killing 36 terrorists.

On September 4, during an operation in Mastung, terrorists’ movement was identified and engaged by security forces; an intense fire exchange resulted in the killing of six Indian sponsored terrorists.

A cache of ammunition and improvised explosive devices were also destroyed on-site, said ISPR.

This is a developing story and is being updated with more details.
