Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf introduced his newborn son, Muhammad Mustafa Haris, on Tuesday, sharing the first glimpse in a heartfelt Instagram post.
“Blessed to announce the birth of our precious baby, Muhammad Mustafa Haris,” Rauf wrote, posting a picture of himself holding the infant.
He accompanied the announcement with poetry from Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani, expressing his emotions.
His post follows congratulatory messages from teammates, including allrounder Shadab Khan and fast bowler Shaheen Afridi.
Shadab wished health and happiness for the child, while Afridi extended warm regards to Rauf and his family.
Rauf and Muzna Masood Malik married in December 2022, with wedding celebrations held in July 2023.
The pacer rose to prominence through the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League before making his international debut in 2020. He has since played 48 ODIs and 79 T20Is, taking 85 and 110 wickets, respectively.
