Arsenal secured a commanding 5-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor.

Arsenal’s triumph marked their fifth consecutive win in the Premier League, keeping the pressure on leaders Liverpool following their 4-1 victory against Brentford.

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s manager, commended his players for their hunger and refusal to be satisfied by recent dominance.

“Really happy with the performance, with the result and the individual and collective contribution of each player as well. That was very, very good,” he said.

“And the fact that the team looked like it wanted more. It wasn’t satisfied. They wanted to score more, they didn’t want to concede a goal. I’m really pleased to hit that consistency.”

Martin Odegaard’s early strike, Bukayo Saka’s brace, and additional goals from Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz demonstrated the north Londoners as a well-rounded team.

Arteta expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, saying, “They wanted to score more, they didn’t want to concede a goal. I’m really pleased to hit that consistency.”

Arsenal’s convincing victory in Lancashire serves as ideal preparation for their return to Champions League action in the last 16 first leg against Porto. Arteta stressed the need to “prepare to play well again and be ourselves” as they gear up for a challenging environment.

Bukayo Saka, at just 22 years old, has made a remarkable impact by scoring in four successive top-flight games for the first time in his career. Arteta lauded Saka’s maturity, attributing it to consistent training, application, and exceptional qualities.

“At his age it is something really strange to find but it is not a coincidence when you look at him every single day,” Arteta said.

“The way he trains, the way he applies himself, the qualities that he has. And he can do more.”

Currently in second place, two points behind Liverpool, Arsenal maintain their s momentum to secure their first Premier League crown since 2004.
