Anthropic’s annualized revenue run rate (ARR) reached $65 billion at the end of July, underscoring the rapid growth of the Claude creator ahead of a potential public listing later this year.
As reported by Bloomberg, the latest figure, shared with investors on Monday, marks a sharp increase from $47 billion in May and roughly $9 billion at the end of 2025.
ARR is a metric that estimates annual revenue by extrapolating a company’s current sales pace.
The AI firm’s preliminary revenue for its most recently completed second quarter exceeded $11.5 billion, representing a significant increase from the same period a year earlier.
The financial update comes as Anthropic prepares for a potential initial public offering (IPO).
The AI startup confidentially filed for an IPO earlier this year, joining rival OpenAI in considering a public-market debut amid strong investor interest in artificial intelligence companies.
