Sheikh Ibrahim Al Madani, a muezzin at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, passed away in the early hours on Monday, Inside the Haramain reported.
The report said Madani performed Fajr call to prayer on Monday at the Grand Mosque, marking his last from the holy place.

Al Madani’s funeral prayer is slated for today (Monday) after the Asr prayer at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Saudi media reported, citing sources.
Al Madani was among the recognised muezzins of the Grand Mosque. He belonged to a religious family.
He was born in Madinah in 1976 and was deeply influenced by his grandfather, who was a Hafiz-e-Quran.
He later graduated in Quranic studies.
Al Madani began his journey as a muezzin at the age of 15, in a mosque in the neighbourhood of Madinah.
He continued serving as a muezzin alongside three neighbourhoods on a rotating basis until he graduated from college.
