Social media app TikTok by ByteDance is set to introduce a photo sharing app just like Instagram, reportedly named “TikTok Notes,” Jerusalem Post reported.
The new app will contain all existing captioning features of TikTok and new features such as a much wider design spectrum than Instagram.

The statement reads, “As part of our continued commitment to innovating the TikTok experience, we’re exploring ways to empower our community to create and share their creativity with photos and text in a dedicated space for those formats.”
As per reports, the app is still under process and will be rolled out soon. The testing phase hasn’t yet begun.
TikTok Notes official website, notes.tiktok.com, has gone live, but it doesn’t open up in the App Store.
However, you can get a glimpse into the app’s aesthetic when you visit its landing page.
The new app will allow users to post photos on TikTok Notes without having to leave the current TikTok app, adding in more hours of presence and revenue for the Chinese platform.
According to data, even though TikTok users spend more time on the app, Instagram is still seeing more downloads.
TikTok still trails behind Instagram in accounts created, TikTok with 1.12 billion users and Instagram with 1.47 billion.
