All private schools and colleges in areas where heavy rain wreaked havoc in Sindh, including Karachi, will remain closed tomorrow (Thursday, August 18), the All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association announced.
Meanwhile, the Government of Sindh is in contact with the Pakistan Meteorology Department (PMD) and will announce its decision regarding schools after considering the situation.
Before the association’s announcement, several private educational institutions had already announced that they would remain closed on August 18 amid the deteriorating situation of the city’s roads due to the rains.
Moreover, Mehran University and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Campus Khairpur will also remain closed tomorrow.
