Mahnoor Safdar marries Azan Jabbar in a private ceremony, with photos circulating online
Mahnoor Safdar, daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, married Azan Jabbar, son of industrialist Jabbar Khalid, in an intimate nikah ceremony held at the Sharif family’s Jati Umra residence on Saturday.
The couple had kept their relationship and wedding arrangements largely away from the public spotlight ahead of the nikah. The ceremony was also kept largely private, with close family members and a small circle of relatives and friends attending the occasion.
Photographers Sara Idress and Muaz Ali Qureshi shared photographs from the ceremony on Instagram, offering a rare glimpse of the couple and the intimate celebrations.
Mahnoor was seen wearing an ensemble from Nida Azwer Atelier, adding a fashion element to the otherwise understated occasion.
A separate video clip from the celebrations captured light-hearted and affectionate moments between the newlyweds, giving followers a brief glimpse into the private event.
The Sharif family has traditionally attracted considerable attention around major family weddings, with previous celebrations involving larger guest lists and multiple events. Mahnoor’s nikah, however, followed a more private format, in keeping with her relatively low public profile.
The wedding also comes months after Mahnoor’s brother Junaid Safdar’s marriage, which featured a series of elaborate celebrations at the Sharif family’s Jati Umrah estate.
