KARACHI: A fire broke out on Monday in Karachi University’s Mass Communication Department, the alma mater of dozens of journalists across Pakistan.
Two fire tenders are busy in rescue operations and are trying to douse the blaze, which as per the sources, erupted in the department’s audio-visual room at around 10am in the morning.
The sources have said that the blaze, not a “serious one”, was caused by to short circuit and the situation is under control.
