ISLAMABAD: Police on Saturday arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadrs Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Salman Akram Raja, the party claimed.
According to the PTI, Gohar and Salman were travelling to Rawalpindi when the police stopped their vehicle near Sector H-13 and took them into custody.
The former ruling party claimed that the law enforcers took both the chairman and the secretary general in a van.
The development comes as the Imran Khan-founded party announced protest in Rawalpindi today. PTI initially planned to hold a rally which was later turned into a demonstration.
