Despite Apple’s prior announcement that AirPlay would be available in hotels by the end of 2023, the rollout was ultimately postponed until this year.
With the introduction of iOS 17.3 this year, the capability at last became available.
As of now, only a few IHG properties in the US, Canada, and Mexico — including the Holiday Inn, Candlewood Suites, and Avid Hotels — support AirPlay.
According to Apple, more places will be added “in the coming months.”
