Seat comfort, cabin cleanliness, boarding service, cabin atmosphere, food, drink, customer service, value for money are criteria for list
British vacationers have determined which airlines are the finest, and a UK carrier ranked first.
“Which?” conducted an annual survey that looks at several factors to evaluate the overall level of customer satisfaction across 10,775 flights, according to The Sun.
Seat comfort, cabin cleanliness, boarding service, cabin atmosphere, food and drink, customer service, and value for money are the seven criteria that make up this list.
Jet2 topped the short-haul airline rankings, scoring 81% for customer satisfaction.
It received five stars for customer service, four stars for boarding, the surroundings and cleanliness of the cabin, and four stars for value for the money.
With the airline, you can get flights to more than 65 destinations for as little as £39.
It also had 68% of flights that were on time, which was in the middle of the top (85% for Iberia) and lowest (51% for TUI Airways).
With only 0.5% of last-minute cancellations, delays were also among the lowest.
One Jet2 passenger told the survey: “I have always found Jet2 staff, on the phone or in person, to be exceptional in all respects.”
“They set the benchmark against which I judge all other companies,” it added.
With a five-star rating for immaculate cabins and a 74% customer satisfaction rating, Icelandair took second place, followed by Norwegian, who received a five-star rating for customer service.
Wizz Air ranked last on the list, receiving only one or two stars for all categories and 44% of passenger satisfaction.
Ryanair (47%), Iberia (49%), and Vueling (53%) were just above this.
