Hania Aamir stepped into music for the first time with her single Pablo, marking a new creative chapter as she celebrated her 10th year in the entertainment industry.
The Punjabi hip-hop track, written and composed by Aamir herself, opened with a piano line before moving into its rap register. In it, the actor addressed critics who called her “fake”, referenced her guarded public persona and pushed back against rumours and unsolicited scrutiny.
The song’s most unexpected moment came at the end. Rather than a conventional guest verse, Pablo closed with a voice note from Indian reality TV personality Rakhi Sawant.
Aamir announced the single on Instagram with a playful video captioned, “Hello Spotify, Hania baat kar rai hun,” using the moment to signal the track’s arrival on the streaming platform.
Spotify Pakistan’s official account responded in the comments, writing “Spotify is present for you”, a nod to her caption.
The release also drew reactions from fellow celebrities and fans.
Actor Hiba Khan responded with an enthusiastic show of support, while actor Saheefa Jabbar Khattak also reacted playfully to the announcement.
Fans filled the comments section with praise for the song’s chorus and Aamir’s new musical direction.
For the official video, Aamir took the director’s chair herself, with associate direction, cinematography, editing and grading handled by Mohammad Mohtashim. The track was produced, mixed and mastered by Kumail Abbas, with music marketing led by Agent HAQ.
With Pablo, Aamir added music to a career that had already spanned acting and modelling, using her debut single to mark a personal career milestone while responding directly to the online criticism that had followed her in recent years.
