LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore has acquitted PTI’s senior leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi, while sentencing Dr Yasmin Rashid and other leaders to 10 years in prison in two May 9 cases.
In its verdict issued on Monday, the court also sentenced Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, former Punjab governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema, and Senator Ejaz Chaudhry in the same case to 10 years.
