The 46-year-old singer was recently spotted on a luxurious boat in Miami with the 38-year-old racing champion, igniting speculations about their relationship, as reported by TMZ. To add fuel to the fire, the duo reunited in Barcelona after Shakira’s attendance at the thrilling Spanish Grand Prix.
The sparks continued to fly between Shakira and Lewis as they met for a dinner with friends to celebrate the latter’s commendable second-place finish at the Grand Prix. Pictures from their night out went viral on social media, courtesy of their pal, Mustafa the Poet, who shared a photo of them on his Instagram Story. The image saw Lewis with his arm wrapped around Shakira’s waist.
Eager to share her racing experience with her fans, Shakira also took to social media to post a picture of herself at the race. “Nice to be back in Barcelona!” she captioned the post. It seems the vibrant city holds a special place in her heart, and perhaps now it holds an even more significant meaning with the presence of her rumoured new flame.
Interestingly enough, just a day before their Barcelona rendezvous, Lewis playfully joked about his need for a “Latina” companion in conversation with his Mercedes teammate, George Russell, on stage.
