Rupee free fall continues unabated in interbank trade

KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee maintained its losing streak against the greenback during the 8th consecutive session in the interbank trade on Tuesday.

The local unit was changing hands at  Rs231.46 — down Rs1.46 against Monday’s close of Rs229.82 in the interbank market at around 11:45 am,  according to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP).
